Chernobyl, 20 years later...

I first read about this over at Big Orange Michael, who was sent this link from another blogging friend of his.

It's
an interactive photo essay by Paul Fusco. It's about the children who were born after the Chernobyl disaster. It's a powerful, moving essay-but be warned, some of the images are quite disturbing. I was moved to tears at many of the images.

Each image comes with a caption-you have to slide your mouse over the arrow in the corner of the picture. The slideshow pauses while you read the caption.

Also, I didn't realize this at first because I didn't have my earphones on, but there is some narration along with the images-this also pauses when you choose to read the caption.
